Joe at the Paramount
Bonamassa is a true master guitarist. His band top level. Joe obviously is a great vocalist as well. However, the sound was sub par. His vocals were too loud. Almost painful, yet the background vocalists were hardly heard, unless they were doing a solo bit. The bass guitar was buried compared to the very loud and constant kick drum.
The Paramount is a beautiful theater and has a very intimate feel. The sound of Joe's amazing playing was up front and excellent. No doubt due to his custom rig and his technical savy. I just wish the A1 paid more attention to the rest of the band and their mix. Over all, it was an excellent show and worth the price.
